Job Description:

Join the team at a prominent medical campus in Aurora, Colorado, as a Psychiatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing critical support to patients experiencing psychiatric crises. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting pediatric psychiatric emergencies and managing complex behavioral health cases. Your day-to-day tasks will include assessing patient needs, managing NG tubes, supporting medical stabilization, and collaborating effectively with providers and support staff. Expect a fast-paced, structured environment where your clinical expertise makes a real difference. Prior experience in acute or behavioral health, especially with eating disorder populations, is valued, and strong communication skills are essential for compassionate patient interactions.
