Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac ICU team as a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Morgantown, West Virginia. You will work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, covering 12-hour overnight schedules that offer a unique opportunity to experience the heart of critical care during quiet, focused hours. The role involves managing direct open-heart admissions straight from the OR, overseeing advanced cardiac devices like Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella, and CRRT, with an acuity-based patient ratio of approximately 1:2. This assignment is ideal for experienced CVICU RNs who thrive on acute cardiac cases, including pressure monitoring and post-surgical care in a fast-paced setting that challenges and develops specialized skills.
