Job Description:

This telemetry unit in Prescott offers a rewarding 13-week contract for skilled RNs experienced in cardiac, medical, and telemetry care. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, interpreting basic telemetry strips, managing heart monitors, and responding to a variety of patient needs such as CHF, COVID, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, post-cath care, and total joint replacements. Prior experience with CVA and TIA is preferred, along with familiarity with Cerner systems. The role involves interpreting strips at least once per shift, participating in unit orientation, and floating to other nearby units or campuses as needed. Expect a collaborative environment with a nurse aide ratio of approximately 1:10-15 and emphasis on effective communication during your shifts. Your duty station will be in a facility designed to support your expertise in cardiac care, with an opportunity to make a difference in patient outcomes during this lively and engaging assignment.
