Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in Asheville as a step-down and med-surg nurse for an enriching 13-week contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts on a G7 floor at a bustling main campus, where you'll provide vital support to patients in a 23-bed step-down unit and 16-bed med-surg area. You'll handle advanced procedures such as trach care, chest tubes, and wound dressing changes, with a focus on high clinical competence and adaptability. Experience with trachs, cardiac drips, and the Cerner EMR system will set you apart. Expect to collaborate closely with experienced staff, including charge nurses and PCTs, in a fast-paced environment that demands flexibility and expertise.
