Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the vibrant city of Asheville, where you'll join the Progressive Care Unit at Mission Hospital. Working on a 12-hour night shift, you'll be responsible for monitoring neuro and trauma patients, conducting neurological and spinal checks, and managing procedures such as chest tube placements, IV infusions, and blood transfusions. Collaboration with a skilled team of RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff is essential as you assist with patient care in a fast-paced environment featuring advanced equipment like IV pumps, PCA pumps, and patient lifts. This role is ideal for those with experience in neuro and trauma settings, who are comfortable handling high-acuity cases and working within EMR systems like Cerner. The unit's patient ratio varies between 4:1 and 5:1 stretched, demanding precision and a patient-focused approach. You will be scheduled for approximately 36 hours weekly, with a competitive gross pay of $1,846.20 per week, making this a rewarding opportunity for seasoned professionals seeking a meaningful travel experience.
