Job Description:

Join a specialized medical-surgical unit in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on Neuro and Stroke patient care, including patients with epileptic seizures, neurosurgical conditions, and complex neurological diagnoses. You will be responsible for IV starts, telemetry monitoring, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, and working within electronic health systems like EPIC. The unit operates with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and requires floating to related MS/Tele units, sometimes including COVID care. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment with a commitment to acuity-specific care.
