Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment is a 26-week contract for a Med Surg/Telemetry registered nurse in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with an expected commitment of 36 hours per week. You'll be part of a surgical unit that cares for colorectal, general, hepatobiliary, orthopedic, urology, and vascular surgery patients. Key skills include IV start and telemetry monitoring, with BLS certification required. The unit operates on a self-scheduling basis and may occasionally require float shifts. Adherence to non-RTO policy post-booking is essential—a two-year minimum experience and travel background for first-timers are preferred.
