Job Description:

This ER nursing opportunity places you in a bustling Texas hospital where you'll work 12-hour day shifts, overseeing an approximate patient load of 80-90 per day. You'll be instrumental in managing trauma cases, stroke patients, and those with complex conditions like sepsis and CHF. The role involves quick decision-making and coordination within a fast-paced environment, sometimes performing triage and holding assessments. Expect to utilize your ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALs certifications as you provide critical support alongside both physicians and mid-level providers. The ER features a mixed concept where holds are intermingled with active cases, requiring keen organizational skills. Your work will primarily involve direct patient monitoring, emergency response, and collaborating with the hospital team to ensure smooth operations.
