Job Description:

Join a dedicated Med Surg RN team in Galesburg, Illinois, on a 22-week travel contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, where you'll deliver skilled nursing care to patients with conditions like COPD, sepsis, CVA, COVID, pneumonia, and post-surgical recovery. The position offers a chance to experience a hospital setting with a private and semi-private bed arrangement, utilizing EPIC EMR and working alongside in-house hospitalists, eHospitalists, and a supportive team. You'll be responsible for managing diverse patient cases, administering medications such as Lasix and Heparin drips, and floating to different floors if needed. The schedule is flexible with self-scheduling options, but managers will coordinate shifts to meet every other weekend and holiday requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses eager to broaden their clinical skills in a busy yet welcoming environment.
