Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in the operating room at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. This 13-week contract places you on the 2nd Floor-North, working three 12-hour day shifts with flexibility in your days off. Your duties involve assisting with various surgeries in a setting equipped with a wide array of OR tools, and operating within EPIC electronic medical records. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments, handle varying patient cases—from neuro to robotics—and can anticipate needs efficiently. Weekends are on-call only, with weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Certifications like BLS and ACLS are required, and a background in robotics training or vascular open-heart experience is a plus. You’ll be part of a specialized surgical team that values proactive, attentive professionals who can adapt and jump into action as needed.
