Job Description:

Join a pediatric float pool as a NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, VA. You'll float across various pediatric units, including NICU, PICU, Peds Medsurg, Peds PACU, Peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. This role requires hands-on skills in NICU and PICU settings and the flexibility to adapt to different pediatric environments. Night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an average weekly commitment of 48 hours. This position offers a chance to experience diverse pediatric cases while working with a supportive team. Clinical review and an auto-offer process support your application, making the onboarding smooth. The assignment includes every other weekend and holiday coverage, with no guaranteed blocks for time off during the first two weeks. Candidates must hold current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Peds PACU experience and the Dr. Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification (cost of $185) are highly preferred. The environment adheres to UVAs float policies, and a Virginia license can be submitted pending approval.
