Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse contract offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a busy emergency setting during overnight shifts. You will be responsible for patient assessment, triage, and supporting the emergency department team with skilled nursing procedures. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with some flexibility for shift adjustments depending on departmental needs. This assignment emphasizes the importance of telemetry reading skills, and familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred. You’ll need to pass two exams—medication and telemetry—at orientation, with only one attempt allowed for each. The successful candidate should bring at least 1.5 years of ER nursing experience and hold an active Massachusetts license. Expect to work approximately 36 hours per week for a duration of 26 weeks in Worcester, MA, close to local attractions and dining scenes.
