Job Description:

Join Nebraska Medicine as a hospital float Registered Nurse in Omaha, NE, for a 26-week contract working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role offers a chance to work across multiple units, including observation, stepdown, neuro, trauma, and transplant, providing a diverse experience within a leading academic medical center. You’ll be expected to float frequently, including to sister campuses, and work during major holidays, with the opportunity to simulate the fast-paced environment of a Level I trauma center. Candidates must bring at least 2 years of recent experience in large urban hospitals, be proficient with EPIC charting, and hold BLS certification (ACLS preferred). This position requires flexibility, a professional appearance in Nebraska Medicine gray scrubs, and the ability to work a consistent 48 hours per week.
