Job Description:

Join the team as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in the bustling Operating Room at Maine Medical Center. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work 12-hour days, with shifts spanning from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., providing plenty of time to hone your skills in a high-volume surgical setting. You’ll be instrumental in preparing operating rooms, assisting surgical teams, and ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready for a variety of procedures, including trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, and more. The role demands at least 2 years of recent CST experience, with a focus on trauma cases, and the ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment. Expect to work weekends on a 1:4 schedule, with one overnight trauma call from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. that adds an element of adrenaline and challenge to the routine.
