Job Description:

Join a dedicated CVICU team as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in New Brunswick, NJ. This role offers a chance to work in a specialized cardiac intensive care setting, focusing on post-op open heart recovery, with a variety of complex patient cases including fresh hearts, ventilated patients, and those with chest tubes and lumbar drains. You will be floating across ICU, PACU, ED, and IMC units, gaining diverse experience, and using advanced devices like Impella and IABP. This assignment is perfect for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with a broad scope of cardiac critical care—including surgeries like CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR. Expect 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, three days a week, with every other weekend and holiday required. The role provides a weekly gross pay of approximately $2,287.41, with a commitment of about 36 hours per week.
