Job Description:

This clinical role is based in the heart of Asheville’s renowned Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit. You will manage a variety of post-operative cardiac surgery and vascular surgery patients, including those recovering from open heart procedures, thoracic lung surgeries, and complex vascular repairs. The position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment like Baxter IV pumps and CADD epidural systems, supporting a team that handles around 40 beds on a 12-hour day shift schedule. This assignment is perfect for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy continuous learning within cardiovascular specialties. You'll be the key to ensuring smooth recovery trajectories, monitoring vital signs, managing epidurals, chest tubes, and administering critical cardiac infusions—all while adhering to unit policies and safety protocols.
