Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you on a cardiac telemetry stepdown unit in Jefferson, North Carolina, working a rotating 12-hour night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You'll be responsible for managing patients with complex diagnoses such as A-Fib RVR, hyperglycemia, and hypertension requiring drips, focusing on patient monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing vascular access and ventilated patients. The role features a mix of scheduled work and the opportunity to experience a piece of small-town life, with the occasional float to other units ensuring versatility. Please note that once booked, RTO (leave requests) are not permitted, and any additional RTO could lead to cancellation. This assignment offers a chance to showcase your telemetry expertise in a fast-paced, technically demanding setting with a manageable patient ratio of 1:4.
