Job Description:

This cardiac telemetry nursing position offers the chance to work with adult to geriatric patients experiencing a range of cardiovascular conditions, including post-myocardial infarction care, heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease. You'll be responsible for monitoring telemetry, performing EKGs, and managing complex cases within a 16-bed unit specializing in cardiac care. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a peaceful overnight environment for focused patient observation. As part of your role, you'll utilize systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR to coordinate care efficiently. Experience with charge nurse responsibilities and familiarity with the specified patient populations will be beneficial, though first-timers are welcome. This assignment emphasizes your clinical skills in a focused cardiac setting, with floating within the scope of practice to support the team during shift needs.
