Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in a Med Surg unit in Lincoln, NE, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. You will be providing essential support to patients with diverse diagnoses, including medical, surgical, and orthopedic conditions. The role emphasizes teamwork with a charge nurse on each shift and collaboration with nurse aids and respiratory therapy staff. Expect to engage in procedures involving central telemonitoring, RT setups, and patient assessments, all while adhering to rigorous policies such as no artificial nails and specific RTO guidelines. This assignment offers an opportunity to experience working in a busy hospital environment with a focus on patient stability and safety, without the need for titratable drips or floating to other units unless specified. The weekly commitment is approximately 36 hours, and the role demands maintaining compliance with facility policies and standards throughout the contract duration.
