Job Description:

Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on the stunning island of Kauai. In this role, you will deliver compassionate nursing care to residents in the Long-Term Care unit, including medication administration, clinical assessments, care plan development, documentation, and effective communication with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. This assignment offers the opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment while enjoying the natural beauty of Kauai. Candidates should have current Hawaii RN licensure, recent LTC or skilled nursing experience, and familiarity with electronic medical records. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required. This role involves a 36-hour workweek, allowing for a balanced experience with plenty of time to explore the island’s unique surroundings.
