Job Description:

This ICU/PCU travel assignment in Twin Falls, Idaho, offers a chance to work in a combined ICU and Progressive Care Unit with 16 ICU beds and 14 PCU beds. You'll primarily support patients with diagnoses such as stroke, respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical care, using ventilators, thermaguard cooling systems, and other advanced equipment. Your responsibilities include managing vents, administering titrated drips, and performing routine patient care tasks like Foley care, IV pulls, and specimen collection. The shift is 12 hours overnight with a flexible staffing model that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Experience with Epic electronic medical records and thermaguard systems is essential. The unit benefits from a strong, supportive team, including in-house intensivists, hospitalists, RTs, and telemonitor techs, perfectly suited for travelers who enjoy a fast-paced, challenging environment with opportunities to grow their skills.
