Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you on the acute rehab unit of a busy hospital in Peoria, Illinois. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, immersing yourself in complex neurological and medical cases, including neuro, neurosurgery, amputations, multi-trauma, and cardiac patients. Your role involves managing a variety of patient needs, reading strips, and participating in team conferences—no drips titration required. The position emphasizes strong neuro skills within a unit that values collaboration and comprehensive rehab care. Prepare for a mix of orientation, on-the-floor experience, and occasional float to other medical units, with a focus on learning specific documentation protocols for rehab. This assignment provides a hands-on experience in a fast-paced rehab setting, perfect for clinicians eager to sharpen their neuro expertise while working in an environment that appreciates professionalism and adaptability.
