Job Description:

This pediatric/neonatal transport nursing role involves supporting critically ill children and infants during interhospital transfers via ground and air. You’ll experience the unique challenge of managing complex cases such as HIE, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, and congenital heart defects while working alongside a dedicated team, including an RT and EMT. The shifts are 12 hours, either overnight or day shifts, so flexibility is key. Expect to handle airway management, vasoactive infusions, non-invasive ventilation, and IV/IO access as part of transporting patients on sophisticated equipment like Phillips monitors, Hamilton ventilators, and transport isolet setups. This assignment stands out for its focus on transport logistics, technology use, and the opportunity to work at a busy Level IV NICU and trauma center serving the Puget Sound region and beyond.
