Job Description:

Join Mercy Hospital Joplin as a Registered Nurse in Med Surg / Cardiac on a 13-week night shift assignment. In this role, you’ll provide specialized care for post-cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients in a dedicated 3rd-floor surgical cardiac unit. Your nights will be busy, but rewarding, as you utilize the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure patient rights are upheld. This assignment offers a chance to work with modern Epic EMR systems and maintain a patient-focused approach while floating as needed across the unit. The setting is vibrant, with a focus on high-quality care and professionalism—and a quiet night here can be quite peaceful.

Duration: 13 weeks (up to 26 weeks upon request)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed, with options for 48 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $1,731.19 gross per week
