Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignmentplaces you in a Cardiac Cath Lab as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) at UF Health Shands Heart Vascular & Neuromedicine Hospitals in Gainesville, FL. You will work a 10-hour day shift schedule, comprising four days per week, with call coverage overnight and on weekends, providing vital support in interventional cardiology procedures. Your role involves performing PCI, managing Impella and IABP devices, and assisting with structural procedures such as Watchman. Expect to work with pediatric and adult patients, including congenital cases, in a fast-paced lab setting that requires proficiency across both neonatal to adult populations. This assignment emphasizes hands-on technical skill, offering the chance to work with a variety of advanced cardiovascular interventions in a busy hospital environment. Previous travel experience and credentialing for RCIS or ARRT are mandatory.
