Job Description:

Join a healthcare team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for an engaging night shift where you'll focus on caring for adult patients in a 36-bed unit. This assignment offers a flexible 12-hour night schedule, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week—any work beyond 48 hours will be considered overtime. You'll be responsible for providing direct patient care within a fast-paced environment, utilizing Epic charting systems, and participating in rapid response team activations. The unit operates on nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6, with weekend shifts included. This role welcomes first-time travelers and emphasizes recent experience in a med surg neuro setting to ensure a smooth transition into the team. The work involves staying on similar units without call duties, floating as needed across like units, and maintaining a focus on patient safety and comfort amid a supportive team.
