Job Description:

Join the team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Abingdon, VA. This role involves providing specialized nursing support in the OR during day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the possibility of rotational weekend and weekday call. You'll be responsible for assisting surgical teams, ensuring proper equipment setup, and maintaining a sterile environment. The position begins with online compliance training on Sundays, including 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. The hospital offers flexibility with shift cancellations every two weeks when census decreases, and additional overtime shifts may be available based on hospital needs.
