Job Description:

Join a 13-week contract working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Ascension Via Christi in Pittsburg, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting, with the opportunity to work across acute care and outpatient units when needed. The schedule consists of 8-hour days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to complete Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) assessments and treat a diverse caseload, including patients with stroke, neuro conditions, orthopedic issues, and more. This is a great chance to hone your skills while experiencing the unique challenges of a small facility with just 12 beds, offering meaningful patient interactions outside of the hustle of larger hospitals.
