Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU team in Omaha, Nebraska, as a CVPICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract. This unique assignment involves night shifts spanning 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a focus on caring for pediatric cardiac ICU patients. You'll work alongside a skilled team managing complex cases such as post-op open hearts, single ventricles, and heart transplants. Expect invasive cardiac monitoring, ECMO & CRRT exposure, and medication management with vasopressors and sedation gtts. This role offers the opportunity to float to a Cardiac ICU as needed and requires ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The unit averages 21 patients, with ratios of 1:2, and every other weekend working is part of the schedule.
