Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you on a Medical-Surgical and cardiac observation unit in Parkersburg, West Virginia, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be responsible for reading EKG strips, managing set-rate drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone, and supporting patients with conditions such as post-cardiac cath, COPD, CHF, and arrhythmias. The role involves a fast-paced environment where quick assessments, vital sign monitoring, bladder scans, and assisting with ADLs are routine. You’ll collaborate with experienced charge nurses and will be expected to float within the hospital, including ICU and step-down units, within your skillset. This assignment offers a stimulating opportunity for experienced RNs who enjoy a lively, dynamic setting and a mix of technical skills that keep every shift interesting. One day of orientation ensures you’re prepared to hit the floor confidently and independently.
