Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery at SEMC in Peru, IL. You'll work 12-hour night shifts for a 10-week contract, providing care to low and high-risk OB patients, stabilizing newborns, and assisting in C-sections with titratable drips managed by the team. This role offers the chance to float between units when needed and collaborate with on-call physicians, all while gaining experience in a Level 1 perinatal facility. The position is ideal for nurses eager to contribute to a busy OB unit that delivers approximately 650 babies annually. Expect a mix of routine postpartum care, high-risk patient management, and neonatal stabilization tasks, wrapped into an engaging and rewarding assignment.
