Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in the Women's Services unit at Meridian Hospital, located in Meridian, Idaho. As a nurse specializing in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care, you'll be supporting a unit with ten postpartum beds, two surgical suites for C-sections, and triage beds. Your responsibilities include circulating during labor and delivery, managing postpartum patients, and caring for well newborns, all within the framework of AWHONN guidelines. The role features 12-hour night shifts, offering a chance to experience the unique rhythm of overnight care while working alongside OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and an in-house anesthesia team. This assignment is perfect for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are experienced with laboring patients, titrating drips like Pitocin and magnesium, and navigating neonatal assessments. You'll have the chance to refine your skills in fetal monitoring, protocols, and emergency response while enjoying the scenery of Idaho’s lush surroundings after your shifts.
