Job Description:

Join the emergency department team at a renowned Level I Trauma hospital in Albuquerque, NM, as an ER Registered Nurse for an 18-week contract. This role offers 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), primarily caring for admitted patients in a fast-paced environment where approximately 60%-80% of ED patients are admitted. You’ll work alongside a skilled team, with responsibilities including medication administration via IV, clinical documentation, and adapting quickly to the hospital's charting system (Cerner). Experience in Level 1 trauma centers and ED holding is preferred. Travelers should expect to work 36 hours per week, with the potential to cover weekend shifts as needed. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience, including those with Level I trauma background, and who are comfortable working a flexible schedule that includes holiday coverage during key holiday bundles. Medication certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC are required.
