Job Description:

Join a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting as a Registered Nurse specializing in high-risk obstetrics. This 26-week contract in Seattle offers the chance to work primarily during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), providing critical care during deliveries and neonatal services. You will function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries, caring for newborns from birth through transfer to postpartum, including administering eyes, thighs assessments, and injections like Vit K. The role involves floating to sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby units when needed, with a focus on maintaining patient safety and adherence to AWHONN guidelines. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of recent high-risk OB experience, current supervisory references, and proof of certification such as NRP, BLS, and other required credentials. This contract is ideal for nurses with a preference for dynamic, high-pressure environments who are comfortable working every other weekend and holidays. The weekly gross pay estimated at $3,199.81 reflects the commitment of 48 hours per week.
