Job Description:

Join a respected hospital in Henderson, KY, as a Stepdown/Tele RN on a 20-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This opportunity involves managing a diverse patient population in a dedicated Stepdown/PCU unit, including patients with conditions like sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, and post-surgical cases in urology, abdominal, or orthopedic care. Travelers will interpret telemetry data, initiate and titrate insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips, and perform assessments that require a keen eye for detail and quick thinking. The role offers a chance to work with a seasoned team, with the possibility of float within the skillset and occasional cross-campus assignments in nearby facilities. Expect to cover guaranteed hours of 36 per week, with opportunities for overtime and a schedule that encourages professional growth and exposure to a wide range of patient scenarios.
