Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room RN in Rockford, Illinois, for a 13-week contract. This role offers evening shifts (8 hours) with a steady schedule that ensures comprehensive OR exposure across multiple specialties, including general, GYN, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, ortho, spine, EENT, and cardiothoracic procedures. You'll be scrubbing in for about 25-45 cases daily, providing hands-on assistance in a fast-paced surgical environment. The facility values experienced OR nurses with at least 3 years of scrub experience and current Illinois licensure. This assignment features a weekday evening schedule, with call responsibilities approximately once weekly and every third or fourth weekend, offering variety and a dynamic work rhythm. Expect to work 40 hours per week, with orientation spanning one week to smoothly acclimate you to the unit's protocols and EMR system.
