Job Description:

Join a dedicated Cardiac Telemetry team on a scenic campus in Kalamazoo, MI. This 13-week contract offers an engaging role as a Telemetry Registered Nurse on the Cardiovascular Unit, primarily managing patients on cardiac monitors, including those with heart failure, MI, stroke, and arrhythmias. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The unit often operates with ratios between 1:5 to 1:6, occasionally shifting up to 1:7 during call-ins — a good challenge for those who enjoy quick thinking. Expect to perform continuous cardiac monitoring, administer cardiac drips, and collaborate closely with a supportive team. Prior experience of at least one year in telemetry nursing is required, along with active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. This role is ideal for travelers comfortable with a busy unit that manages both cardiac and overflow medical patients.
