Job Description:

Join UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, for an engaging 13-week contract as an RN or LPN in inpatient rehabilitation. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing critical care in a 50-bed facility that manages high-acuity cases originating from trauma referrals. This role involves supporting patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. Expect to navigate a setting that functions much like a medical-surgical unit, requiring hands-on assistance with call lights, safety checks, and team collaboration. The environment offers an opportunity to deepen your expertise in inpatient rehab, working with advanced equipment and EPIC electronic health records. This assignment is tailored for nurses with at least a year of skilled nursing or similar experience, especially those familiar with Med Surg or rehab settings, looking to make a meaningful impact within a specialized team.
