Job Description:

This opportunity places you in the PACU, specifically supporting the HVI Pre Post Unit in a bustling West Virginia hospital. You'll be responsible for managing anesthesia recoveries and sedation cases, primarily for outpatient and inpatient patients undergoing a variety of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures. Expect a mix of heart catheterizations, structural heart interventions like TAVRs and Mitral clips, carotid surgeries, thoracic resections, and some ICU recovery cases. The role involves hands-on patient monitoring, reading strips, and collaborating with RN colleagues during 12-hour day shifts, with a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. Prepare for a fast-paced environment that ensures you’re vital to each patient's recovery process. Shift work includes rotating call duties on weekends and holidays, with a one-hour response time, offering an engaging mix of responsibilities and schedule flexibility.
