Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract involves working as an ER nurse in Garden City, KS, within Zone 4. The role requires providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, with responsibilities including managing patients presenting with conditions like abdominal pain, stroke, trauma, and cardiac issues. The shifts are 12 hours overnight, and you'll be expected to float across ER units within the zone, adapting to different patient needs and department setups. Travel nurses must complete a short orientation week in-state and be available for the entire 13-week duration, with minimal missed shifts allowed. No home base facility is required, and you'll need to be comfortable working in various ER environments, supporting the team with fast diagnosis and interventions while handling a patient load varying from 6 to 49 patients daily.
