Job Description:

Join our team as a NICU RN on a 13-week travel contract in Charlottesville, VA. This role involves providing specialized neonatal intensive care during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll be responsible for supporting fragile infants in a busy unit, applying your clinical expertise to ensure optimal outcomes. The assignment offers a unique chance to experience a vibrant community while honing your skills in a high-acuity setting. BLS certification is required, and NRP must be in-hand at submission. Additionally, a Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is preferred but can be submitted pending, with a cost of $200. Be prepared for scheduled work on three weekends and every other holiday, though time-off requests cannot be approved during the first two weeks or Labor Day weekend. Past experience with neonatal care and current VA license are necessary to hit the ground running.
