Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at Central Maine Hospital in Lewiston, ME, as a registered nurse on a Med-Surg/Tele unit. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a busy Level III Trauma unit, managing high volumes of admissions and discharges daily. You'll be responsible for monitoring telemetry, interpreting dysrhythmias, and providing care to adult and geriatric patients. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a rhythm of work that allows for daytime leisure or exploration. This assignment is a great fit if you thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy managing a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, from orthopedic surgeries to trauma cases, all while floating to sister units as needed. Expect to work approximately 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required. Certifications in BLS and an active RN license are necessary to contribute your expertise in this vital role.
