Job Description:

Join a specialized SICU nurse team in New Orleans for an exciting 13-week travel assignment. You'll focus on caring for high-acuity surgical recovery patients, including post-op CABG, valve repairs, and transplant recoveries such as liver and lung transplants. This role involves floating to other ICU units, managing complex cases like PA catheter and balloon pump use, and performing procedures such as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. The shift is a consistent 12-hour night schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. Be prepared for the possibility of emergency team standby, where flexibility and adaptability are essential.
