Job Description:

This CVICU travel assignment offers a front-row seat to cutting-edge cardiovascular interventions and complex post-operative care. You'll work with a highly monitored patient population — including post-OP CABG, valve surgeries, VAD placements, and heart transplants — in a 20-bed ICU with private rooms. Expect a fast-paced environment where your expertise in interpreting EKG strips, titrating multiple drips, managing ventilated patients, and handling specialized equipment like IABPs and ECMO will be critical. Be prepared to hit the ground running; familiarity with advanced cardiovascular devices and protocols is essential. Your role will involve collaborating with charge nurses, house supervisors, RTs, and specialized providers, while delivering top-tier care in a dynamic, high-stakes setting.
