Job Description:

Join our inpatient rehab team in Wausau, Wisconsin, on a 13-week contract that combines professional challenge with the chance to experience a vibrant community. As an RN specializing in inpatient rehabilitation, you will be responsible for caring for patients recovering from strokes, trauma, debility, amputations, or cardiac events. Shifted during the night from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, you'll work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations, with the opportunity to float across inpatient units as needed. This role offers a unique chance to develop specialized skills in rehab nursing while managing a typical patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 during days and 1:8 at night, with a focus on efficiency and resilience. Expect to work approximately 36 hours weekly, with guaranteed hours and minimal on-call duties, making this a thoughtful balance of work and personal time.
