Job Specifics:

Location: Carlsbad, NM. Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 pm - 7:00 am. Duration: 13 weeks, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. This role requires floating and call duties, with a patient ratio of 4:1 in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience and hold certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC. NRP is preferred. The RN will be responsible for assessing, administering medications, and documenting patient care while demonstrating leadership and critical thinking throughout their shift. Full uniform attire is required, and EMR documentation will be completed on MedHost (EDIS). Expectations include call notification at least two hours prior to shifts and adherence to agency and state fingerprinting requirements.
