Job Description:

Join our team as a travel ER Registered Nurse in Lafayette, LA, for a 13-week assignment. This role offers 12-hour night shifts, providing a great opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of Louisiana while making a meaningful impact during emergency situations. You’ll be working closely with a team of professionals, sometimes being part of an “Emergency Team” to handle urgent events that may require staying onsite longer. The position involves acute care responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, requiring readiness for quick thinking, adaptability, and collaboration. If you thrive under pressure and are comfortable with emergency preparedness and shift flexibility, this unique assignment could be a perfect fit.

Job Specifics:

Location: Lafayette, LA
Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 1845 - 0715
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (potential for overtime)
This role requires a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, ACLS, PALS, CPI, BLS, and TNCC certifications. The position involves floating to other floors as needed and may require weekend coverage every other week. Please note that first-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment, and prior Epic experience is mandatory. The unit operates with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, and additional emergency event assignments may be required based on facility needs.
