Join a 13-week contract as a step-down registered nurse in Dayton, Ohio, working 12-hour night shifts. This role focuses on caring for patients with complex respiratory needs, including those on ventilators, trachs, and high-oxygen therapy. The unique team nursing model encourages collaboration with a partner nurse and PCTs to enhance both workload management and patient care. Expect to interpret EKGs, manage drips such as insulin and heparin, and work with patients suffering from COPD, CHF, sepsis, and post-COVID conditions. Prior float experience and travel history are preferred, and candidates must demonstrate specific SD/PCU experience to be considered. Job Specifics:

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Shift: Night, 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks, 48 hours per week

Floating to different campuses and units, including emergency support, is expected. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment that emphasizes collaboration and adaptability. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, and experience with EPIC and ventilator management. The scheduled shifts are set in Navy Blue scrubs, with an initial RTO request needed upon submittal.
