Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in Winston-Salem offers an exciting opportunity for experienced ICU or PCU nurses, particularly those with strong cardiac backgrounds. You'll be stepping into a newly opened unit transitioning from high acuity PCU to ICU, focusing on complex cardiac patients such as post-cardiac surgery, transplant recipients, and patients with severe heart conditions. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced, specialized environment that requires expertise in ECMO, Impella, and other advanced cardiac support techniques. The hospital supports a collaborative team including resource nurses, RTs, hospitalists, and intensivists to ensure you have the necessary support while delivering top-tier care.
