Job Description:
Join a rewarding 13-week contract as an RN in Wausau, Wisconsin, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday. This position offers the chance to float across various inpatient units, providing diverse experiences and skills. Your responsibilities will include managing adult patients with conditions such as respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal issues, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, and wound care. Job Specifics:
Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Shift: 12-hour nights, Friday to Sunday
Duration: 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and additional floating to inpatient units as needed. Flexibility is key, as the unit often operates at low census in 4-hour intervals, with specific on-call or callback hours not considered to be on call. The role involves working every weekend and every other holiday, with possible extra hours during flu season, requiring mask compliance if declined vaccination. Candidates should possess an active Wisconsin RN license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience, and trauma level II experience preferred. EPIC charting experience is required.
